Monday:  BBQ Pork Ribs, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans**, Iced Tea

Tuesday:  Polenta with Italian Sausage and Spaghetti Sauce, Salad, Iced Tea

Wednesday:  Salisbury Steaks with Cremini Mushrooms,  Braised Kale and Carrots, Smashed Sweet Potato, Iced Tea

Thursday:  Southwestern Pumpkin Burgers, Sweet Potato Fries, Avocado Salad, Hot Apple Cider

Friday:  Dinner Out!

Saturday:  Pumpkin ChiliPumpkin Cornbread, Salad, Apple Tea

 

Sunday:  Grilled Salmon with Avocado SalsaCandied Sweet Potatoes, Iced Tea

I eat gluten free.  Several of the recipe links above may contain gluten.  I simply substitute gluten free options for those ingredients.

**This is the way my “Tennessee Mama”  used to make them except we also added a little squirt of mustard and some brown sugar. More like 1/4 cup dark brown sugar and a couple of tablespoon of molasses.  Use Grandma’s Molasses.  It is not as strong flavored as black strap molasses.  This is comfort food and brings back good family memories.
